Cosmic Pantheon: Egypt - A Set of Hard Enamel Pins

Hey everyone! There's a couple things I would like to discuss, but first I wanted to show you guys the design I've been working on for Heqet. I will most likely tweak her a bit more in the future, but I wanted to move on to finishing the final two designs I'm working on. 

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who weighed in on the last post: I really appreciate the time and effort that was put into sharing your different viewpoints. It was great to read through all of the varied opinions and their reasonings. I also want to thank you for hosting respectful discussions. I think it's important to remember that, as with any belief system, there are going to be vastly different interpretations depending on how the individual relates to it. In that regard, there isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer. 

My drive behind this project is one rooted in my deep love for Ancient Egypt, and above all I want to respect the history and original belief system. After careful consideration I've decided to pull the Ap/ep design as is, so it won't be put into production. However, I am open to redesigning the pin as a battle between Ra and Ap/ep as some of you had suggested, with the snake being torn. If there's any objections to that, please let me know in the comments below. If I do go through with designing that pin I would replace the standalone Ra design with a Wadjet design instead.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to touch base on the new designs I'm working on - I had a lot come up recently that ate up most of my time, but I'm close to finishing all of the new designs. We've already funded over $17,000 so most (if not all) of the new designs will be unlocked as soon as they're released :)

Here's a little quick teaser of Wenut :) Hope you guys like her design. Not much is known about her other than she was a goddess with the head of a hare, called "the swift one."

I may tweak her a little more as I finish up the other ones. 

Right now it's looking like I'll be releasing the new designs/stretch goals with the equivalent early bird tiers on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll post an update here by tomorrow night with a set date and time. 

I'm still in shock over how well this project is doing, and words cannot express how thankful I am for all of the support it's received. I can't wait to see these brought to life :)

New early bird tiers release date!

Hey everyone! Just a quick update - the new early bird tiers will release at noon (12pm) EST on Wednesday 7/22. There will be 5 new tiers added to correlate with the number of new designs, and I’m thinking there will be 10 of each.

New Design Sketches

Hey guys! I wanted to show you the finished designs before I release the new early bird tiers, but I forgot to transfer the images from my computer to my phone and I’m currently not home. I won’t be able to show you the final designs until I get home later and have access to my computer, but I do have 3 of the initial sketches on my phone. I thought it might be cool for you to see how these designs evolve from the initial sketch to the finished version. Heqet is still a work in progress, but I might be able to finish her quickly after I get out of work today, and I’ll try to include her in the update tonight.

This is Apep, Osiris, and the winged scarab.

All of the new designs are already unlocked except for the winged scarab, which unlocks at $20,000 and is free with every reward package :)

Also just a reminder that the new early bird tiers release in about 20 minutes. If you already have an early bird tier you can add $10 per pin to your pledge for each additional pin you'd like to get - no need to rush over the new tiers!

Hey everyone! I wanted to reveal some of the final designs for the new stretch goals (which have all been unlocked!), but I also wanted to pose a question to you all. I recently had someone request that I not make Apep into a pin due to his nature of being the spirit of chaos and darkness, and instead make a pin of Wadjet. I also received a request to make Apep after the request not to, so feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts. I also included an image of his final design below.  

I'm still working on Heqet, and I'm also re-doing Ra, after looking at him in comparison to my Horus design I felt they were too similar, so I'm exploring ways to make him a bit more different visually.

The winged scarab pin has been unlocked, and it's a freebie pin for every reward package :)
